Places to Visit 

Throughout North Devon there is a host of fantastic places to visit. We've listed a few to show some of the places you can enjoy an exciting day out in the local area. 

Valley of the rocks 

The Valley of the Rocks is a dry valley running along the coast of North Devon near Lynton. It's an absolutely beautiful place to visit providing some breathtaking views. 

Exmoor Zoo 

Exmoor Zoo has a huge variety of animals on show including black leopards - the only ones on exhibit in the UK. 

Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park 

A family run wildlife and dinosaur park set in over 28 acres. A great day out for the whole family. 

Lynton Cliff Railway 

The Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway is famous for being the worlds highest and steepest completely water-powered railway. 

Quince Honey Farm 

Quince Honey Farm provides beekeeping tours along with a host of childrens activities including candle rolling, critter cabin and the play hive.  

Arlington Court 

A large regency house with an impressive collection of horse drawn vehicles. All set within picturesque gardens in North Devon. 

Watermouth Castle 

A family theme park and castle with loads to do for children and adults of all ages.
